Job Location: Remote IPG is seeking an Advanced BI Analyst with deep expertise in digital analytics, data integration, and performance measurement to support data-driven decision-making across marketing and digital teams. This role will be instrumental in designing scalable analytics solutions, ensuring data accuracy, and translating complex datasets into actionable insights that drive acquisition, engagement, and conversion performance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills (SQL, tagging, data modeling) with business acumen and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Digital Analytics Implementation & Tag Management (30%) - Manage and optimize Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementations across multiple websites and brands - Configure, test, and troubleshoot tags to ensure accurate tracking of user interactions and events - Own and maintain GA4 event tracking frameworks, capturing full-funnel user behavior from campaign engagement through conversion - Ensure tagging strategies align with business goals, marketing KPIs, and measurement frameworks - Partner with development teams to deploy scalable and consistent tracking solutions - Reporting & Dashboard Development (25%) - Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboards using Looker Studio and Power BI - Develop automated reporting solutions that centralize KPIs across traffic sources, campaigns, and conversion funnels - Integrate data from multiple platforms, including Snowflake, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), and Google Analytics - Leverage knowledge of complex data environments (e.g., policy systems such as Wombat and Orca) to ensure accurate reporting - Enable self-service analytics capabilities for marketing and business stakeholders - Data Analysis & Insight Generation (20%) - Analyze multi-source datasets to identify trends in user behavior, campaign performance, and conversion outcomes - Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations - Partner with marketing teams to optimize digital campaigns, customer journeys, and user experiences - Proactively identify opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency and conversion rates - Data Integration & Query Development (15%) - Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources - Support the development of integrated datasets for reporting and advanced analytics - Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across platforms - Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data pipelines and structures - Cross-Functional Collaboration & Analytics Governance (10%) - Collaborate with developers, data teams, marketing stakeholders, and external agency partners - Align on measurement strategies and validate tracking implementations across platforms such as Google Ads and Meta - Act as a subject matter expert in GA4, GTM, and digital analytics best practices - Establish and enforce governance standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across digital properties Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Business, or related field - 5–8+ years of experience in business intelligence, digital analytics, or marketing analytics - Deep expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) - Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake - Strong experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Looker Studio - Experience integrating and analyzing data from marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, SFMC) - Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in complex, multi-system environments (e.g., insurance, financial services, or enterprise marketing ecosystems) - Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes - Experience with A/B testing frameworks and experimentation analysis - Knowledge of customer journey analytics and attribution modeling #li #IPG All of our jobs come with great benefits including healthcare, parental leave and opportunities for career advancements.
