Quality Assurance Intern The Quality Assurance Intern will work with Park Place’s London-based Development and QA team to help test Park Place Technologies (PPT) Network Analytics software solutions across all supported platforms, using a combination of manual and automated testing techniques, to ensure they meet or exceed PPT’s quality standards and are suitable for public release. What you’ll be doing: - Acquire a solid understanding of PPT’s software development life cycle, and specifically where QA fits into this process. - Obtain a good working knowledge of PPT’s network analytics product, and how it is used to help medium and large enterprises manage their network infrastructures. - Develop solid software testing skills. - Help translate functional specifications into test cases, and document in the test case management system (qTest) - Perform manual execution of test cases, capturing the results in qTest and logging a detailed report for any bugs found in the defect tracking system (Jira). - Provide detailed bug reporting and providing help on reproducing issues, along with constructive feedback to software engineers. - Deliver quality assurance effort to tight deadlines.
