Primary Purpose and Function  Chipply is adding an Account Executive to support continued revenue growth. This role reports to the SVP of Revenue and owns new and expansion revenue within an assigned territory. The Associate Account Executive identifies and qualifies opportunities, leads product demonstrations, manages the full sales cycle, and closes contracts. This role is perfect for someone with some Business Development Experience or New Grad looking to start their career in sales! You focus on new customer acquisitions while expanding revenue within existing accounts. You work closely with leadership, marketing, account management, and product teams to drive pipeline growth and quota attainment. Local candidates have 3 days in office schedule, for those further near Chicago or Madison 2 days in office. Responsibilities - Build and own a qualified sales pipeline within an assigned territory to support quarterly and annual revenue targets. - Prospect into target accounts through outbound and inbound efforts to engage owners, operators, and primary decision makers. - Manage full cycle sales activities including discovery, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and close. - Communicate Chipply’s platform value clearly by tying product capabilities to customer business goals and revenue outcomes. - Expand revenue within existing accounts through relationship management and identification of growth opportunities. - Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and forecast data in the company CRM. - Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Product teams to improve go-to market execution and sales processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 0 to 2 years of full cycle B2B software sales experience, preferably SaaS or eCommerce.
  • Experience selling to the custom apparel, team dealer, sports, or promotional products market is a plus.
  • Documented history of meeting or exceeding quota in a growth stage environment.
  • Comfort operating with ownership, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Other Requirements
  • Travel up to 25 percent annually.

Attend to all facets of flow of product in a manually intensive system. - Maintain all department reports, spreadsheets, and analysis. - Problem resolution contact for distribution centers and stores. - Communication with vendors regarding production information. - Maintain and organize product samples received for customer representative to review. - Set product for department plan-o-gram and edit the labels sent to the stores for ordering process. Submit samples for photography used in flyers. Set additional product for suggested displays used in planners that are sent to the stores. - Review samples for artwork approval, packaging, and product specification. Process final sample approval procedure specific to each department. - Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of SKU, UPC, and vendor information. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS: - Ability to handle a number of projects under a tight timeline while maintaining a calm, positive environment - Ability to be a team player and be customer service driven - Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly when communicating with all levels of staff, management and vendors. Demonstrate professional courteous and respectful attitude when interacting with callers, vendors and co-workers. - Highly motivated, dependable with the flexibility to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment. - Detail oriented with strong organizational skills to balance priorities and meets deadlines with minimal supervision. - Ability to handle confidential issues - Ability to interact in a global environment - Spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation application skills WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION: - Education and Experience: High school diploma required, college degree desirable.
