How you make a difference The Registered Nurse Telehealth is responsible for remotely assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Key Responsibilities • Provides telehealth support and guidance to onsite staff in the assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized treatment programs. • Implements clinical and technical aspects of care, intervenes with safety techniques and procedures, and supports the implementation of medical plans and diagnostic testing. • Assists the Health Care Practitioner as necessary to meet individual patient needs, including implementing nutrition and therapeutic diet plans.• Documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting in the telehealth platform and attends mandatory staff meetings and training. • Communicates information to nursing staff, physicians, and other staff members as necessary. Qualifications & Requirements Education - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience - Prefer a minimum of one (1) year correctional healthcare experience or - A minimum of one (1) year clinical experience. Licenses/Certifications - Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment. - Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
