This is a remote position that will report directly to the Sr. Strategic Commercial Director. POSITION SUMMARY The Strategic Commercial Specialist helps drive operational execution across Seaman Corporation’s Strategic Business Development and Channel Development teams. This role coordinates strategic initiatives, maintains visibility of key accounts and project pipelines, supports CRM discipline, and ensures cross-functional alignment across the Commercial organization. By strengthening operational coordination and accountability, this role enables Strategic teams to remain focused on owner engagement, specification influence, and revenue growth across Seaman’s priority market segments. This role works closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, Product Management, and Regional Sales to ensure strategic initiatives and customer engagement efforts are coordinated effectively across the organization. The ideal candidate has prior experience in sales administration, sales operations, executive assistance, or marketing support and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of anticipating team needs - always one step ahead. Strong communication skills and a background in marketing, presentation design, and sales operations will be critical to success in this role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Coordinate execution of strategic commercial initiatives across Strategic Business Development, Channel Development, and Core Sales teams by tracking progress, maintaining visibility of priorities, and ensuring alignment with company growth objectives. - Maintain visibility of key strategic accounts, initiatives, and project pipelines across priority market segments by supporting accurate CRM data and activity tracking within Seaman360 in coordination with Sales Operations. - Facilitate coordination between Strategic teams, Marketing, Sales Operations, Product Management, and Regional Sales to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives, accountability for action items, and timely follow-through. - Support preparation for strategic customer engagements, executive meetings, and industry events by coordinating briefing materials, presentations, and internal alignment.. - Tailor approved marketing presentations and customer-facing materials to support strategic account engagement and executive meetings. - Track strategic leads and opportunities generated through key accounts, events, and industry engagement and coordinate handoff with the appropriate internal sales resources. - Support development and organization of strategic account plans and account mapping initiatives that drive long-term growth in priority market segments. - Assist in preparation and coordination of strategic planning meetings, quarterly business reviews, and segment strategy sessions. - Provide operational leadership and coordination that enables Strategic Business and Channel Development leaders to remain focused on customer engagement, specification influence, and revenue growth. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred. - 10+ years of experience in sales administration, executive assistance, or marketing support. - Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce strongly preferred). - Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Excellent organizational and project management skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Experience supporting sales or business development teams preferred.
