Job Summary Under general supervision of the Manager of Applications Engineering, the Data Warehouse Engineer position is responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining the University’s enterprise data warehouse. This includes working with campus stakeholders and other data consumers to determine requirements, design solutions, and model data. Primary activities include the design, implementation, testing, documentation and support of data models, programs, data pipelines, and scripts that produce appropriate and useful business intelligence capabilities for the campus community. Key Qualifications - Demonstrated experience building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS-specific and general relational database technologies.  - Demonstrated experience designing, building and optimizing data sets, data pipelines and architectures.  - Demonstrated experience designing, developing and supporting data warehouse star schema models and applications.  - Demonstrated skills using database/query languages to store, manipulate, and retrieve data (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Aurora).  - Demonstrated programming skills using modern languages (e.g., Python).   Education and Experience Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience. Salary and Benefits Anticipated Hiring Range: $98,436 - $119,988 Per Year Classification Range: $87,408 - $127,332 Per Year Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
