UAE Internal Auditor We are looking for an energetic and proactive Internal Auditor to support the company in building an ethical and sustainable business. You’ll play a key role in helping the company achieve its long-term goals by providing risk-based, independent and objective assurance and advice. You’ll join a team that is building the internal audit function of the future. We work as a team across cultures and time zones. You will be based in our Dubai (UAE) office and will be the linking pin between the global Internal audit team and local management, and report to the Team Lead Internal Audit. What you’ll do: - Proactively create a network within the company and by exemplifying the Adyen Formula become a trusted advisor for the first and second line functions and stay up to speed on the changing risk environment. - Develop the annual audit plan for the UAE legal entity including updating the audit universe and completing the risk assessment process. - Prepare, execute and report on operational and compliance internal audit assignments for the Adyen UAE legal entity (as well as for other Adyen legal entities around the globe based on capacity), in line with the audit policies and guidelines, professional judgment, auditing standards and guidance from the Head of Internal Audit. - Provide management with an independent assessment of the effectiveness of the processes and the adequacy of risk management and the internal control environment. - Facilitate the definition of smart solutions to identified deficiencies and/or opportunities for value creation. - Identify opportunities that contribute to improvement of the audit methodology, way of working and audit function, and manage respective internal projects accordingly for implementation. - Monitor and analyze local market developments, regulatory changes, and business activities to contribute to audit risk assessment and planning activities. Who you are - Proactive, energetic, self-starter with a hands-on mentality. - You are looking for a fast-paced, dynamic working environment and you recognize yourself in the Adyen formula. - 5+ years relevant working experience as an auditor within a professional accountant’s firm, risk advisory firm or internal audit/risk management/compliance function. - Good knowledge of regulatory frameworks in financial services such as UAE Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance and regulatory framework, KYC processes and customer due diligence (CDD) requirements, and CBUAE supervision. - Preferably good knowledge of data analytics and the drive and curiosity to identify opportunities to exploit this in your internal audit work. - Excellent communication and influencing skills; excellent English. - International experiences and comfortable working with different cultures and mindsets. A Day in the Life This Experienced Environmental Chemist - Data Validation position, is mid-level, non-laboratory based environmental chemistry work with an emphasis on environmental analytical data validation. This position can be performed either hybrid out of Valley Forge, PA, or remote. The Experienced Environmental Chemist - Data Validation role requires a thorough understanding of environmental analytical data generation processes across a wide variety of matrices, constituents, and regulatory settings. This role requires a unique blend of critical attention to detail and high-level systematic thinking - successful candidates will be able to understand and apply granular detail while not losing sight of the big picture. Strong technical comprehension and solid problem-solving skills are a must. Candidates will need to be familiar with the full cycle of environmental data collection, including planning guidelines and regulatory frameworks; sample collection techniques; analytical methodology and quantitation; data review and quality control interpretation; and environmental data management and reporting processes.
