• Writing world-class web scraping tutorials (Python, Node.js, and beyond) • Creating and improving technical documentation for our growing global user base • Producing technical content across multiple formats and platforms, including Medium articles, landing pages, GitHub repositories, and developer-focused microsites • Updating and optimizing older content to maintain industry-leading quality • Publishing comparison guides, concept explainers, and developer-focused deep dives • Collaborating closely with SEO, Customer Success, Product, and Growth • Bringing new content ideas proactively, we expect you to think, not just execute • Optimize content to be cited and surfaced by AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, not just rank on Google. • Track and report on content performance metrics, organic traffic, engagement, conversions, and iterate based on data, not intuition. • Potentially creating video-based educational content (nice to have)
Job Requirements
- Have built multiple projects using Python or Node.js
- Understand web scraping fundamentals
- Have 3+ years of technical content writing experience
- Can explain complex technical concepts simply and clearly
- Feel comfortable exploring additional languages when needed
- Are confident writing tutorials, comparisons, and conceptual content
- Have strong written English skills (we are an English-first organisation)
- Communicate clearly and directly. We value clarity over corporate polish
- Are highly organised and detail-oriented
- Are proactive, transparent, and accountable
- Are comfortable in a high-autonomy environment
- Familiar with how LLMs source and surface answers, and how to write content that gets cited by AI search engines.
- Knows that publishing is the beginning, not the end. Actively thinks about how content reaches the right developer audience.
- Comfortable in Google Analytics, Search Console, and Ahrefs. Can read performance data and make editorial decisions from it.
