Quality & Standards Engineer – Renewables
Ulteig
• Lead development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Ulteig’s Renewables design standards, including drawing standards, engineering workflows, design tools, and automation solutions. • Develop and execute implementation and training plans for new and updated standards, ensuring high adoption across teams. • Partner with Ulteig’s Engineering Center of Excellence (COE) and Automation Manager to align software-related standards, tooling, and processes. • Create tools and digital solutions that streamline engineering workflows, reduce manual effort, and promote standardization across Renewables projects. • Maintain, refine, and automate quality checklists, review procedures, and governance processes. • Conduct internal audits, monitor adherence to standards, and recommend improvements based on findings. • Communicate regularly with our key clients, including Client Team Leads (CTLs), to capture upcoming changes, gather feedback, and share improvement opportunities. • Develop, track, and report department specific quality metrics. • Identify workflow and process roadblocks and implement scalable solutions that improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability of engineering deliverables. • Develop and maintain automation solutions leveraging Power Platform, Dataverse, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure Services, SQL Server, and other digital tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Strong programming experience with C#, including developing automation solutions, applications, or integrations to support engineering workflows.
- Experience with renewable energy project design and engineering, with a strong understanding of key deliverables, discipline interfaces, and project lifecycles.
- Demonstrated ability to map engineering processes, standardize workflows, and develop scalable, repeatable solutions that improve quality and efficiency.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to translate complex engineering needs into structured workflows and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and collaborate effectively across technical teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, drive continuous improvement, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States.

Performance Engineer
