What will you do The ERP Project Associate plays a vital role in supporting the successful execution of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation. Reporting to the Principal ERP Project Manager, this position ensures that project activities are well organized, communication is timely and clear, and alignment is maintained across functional, technical, and vendor workstreams—including Human Capital Management, Finance, Budget, and Technical areas. Serving as a central point of coordination, the ERP Project Associate helps maintain project momentum, supports day‑to‑day operations, and contributes to the smooth delivery of milestones throughout the implementation lifecycle. The ERP Project Associate maintains detailed project schedules, action and RAID logs, monitors deliverables and dependencies, and provides comprehensive meeting and logistical support. This role manages project documentation, prepares reports, dashboards, and executive‑level summaries, and supports communication and stakeholder engagement through project updates, workshops, training sessions, and user‑focused activities. Additionally, the ERP Project Associate assists with vendor coordination, tracks SOW deliverables, supports onboarding of project team members, and maintains project calendars, repositories, and access controls. The position also contributes to audit preparation and compliance documentation, ensuring organized, efficient, and effective project operations across all workstreams. When required, the ERP Project Associate works independently on small to medium‑sized projects and collaborates with other IT Project Managers on medium to large initiatives. For any project where the ERP Project Associate serves as the sole Project Manager, they are responsible for leading, planning, and executing all project activities, including management of scope, timeline, resource allocation, budget, and risks. Role Description Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background leading Workday or ServiceNow implementation projects. This role requires hands-on ownership of project planning, execution, governance, stakeholder management, and delivery of technology initiatives in a large-enterprise environment. The ideal candidate brings strong PM discipline, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to drive cross-functional teams toward successful go-lives. No Visa Sponsorship Contract Duration: 12 months | W2 Location: Remote (U.S. Based) Qualifications - Experience with virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, WebEx, Teams, etc.) - Proficiency with PM tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or similar. - Ability to work full-time hours with flexibility for occasional overtime or travel for project needs (airfare/mileage reimbursed) - Experience leading Workday OR ServiceNow implementation projects (full lifecycle ownership required) - 3+ years of project management experience and 6+ years working on technology project teams. - Demonstrated experience creating and managing PM artifacts (charter, plan, RACI, risk log, status reports) - Strong stakeholder and communication management skills, including interaction with senior leadership. - Experience managing multiple concurrent technology projects in a structured, enterprise environment. - Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience with strong PM credentials accepted. Requirements - Coordinate cross-functional teams, technical resources, SMEs, and vendor/implementation partners. - Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday or ServiceNow implementation projects, including planning, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare. - Develop and maintain core PM artifacts such as project charters, project plans, RACIs, risk/issue logs, and executive status reports. - Establish project cadence, facilitate planning sessions, and manage timelines, dependencies, and deliverables. - Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders. - Manage scope, change requests, and issue escalation to ensure project objectives remain on track. - Drive project governance, including steering committee updates, sponsor alignment, and decision-making forums. - Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution to prevent recurrence. - Support testing/UAT planning, cutover readiness, deployment activities, and post-go-live stabilization. - Ensure project documentation, reporting, and communication follow established PM standards. - Identify process improvement opportunities and support adoption of new processes or system enhancements. - Facilitate cross-team collaboration and maintain strong communication channels with business owners, technical teams, and leadership. - Gather and synthesize information from process owners to understand current-state and future-state workflows. - Provide clear, actionable updates and ensure alignment across all project participants. Preferred Skills - PMP, Agile, Lean/Six Sigma, or similar PM certifications. - Experience coordinating with system integrators or vendor partners. - Experience delivering projects within highly regulated or complex enterprise environments.
