EHS Support

Location: Perth WA - Remote Experience Level: 3-4 years About the Role The Environmental Advisor supports EHS Support in the delivery of environmental approvals, impact assessments, and compliance obligations across Western Australia and nationally for a range of Client’s across several different sectors. The role provides technical input, regulatory coordination, and documentation support for projects requiring assessment under the Environment Protection Act 1986 (WA), the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth), and other relevant State and Commonwealth frameworks. The position works closely with EHS project managers, clients, and regulators to ensure approval pathways are clearly defined, risks are well‑managed, and submissions are delivered to a high standard. Primary Duties & Responsibilities · Support Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and approvals processes to secure timely State and Commonwealth environmental approvals · Develop strategic approvals plans, schedules, and pathways to support efficient and compliant project delivery · Contribute to the development, coordination, and delivery of environmental plans, EPA referrals, and supporting documentation to enable the Client’s onshore and offshore activities. · Demonstrate sound knowledge of Western Australian environmental legislation, regulatory frameworks, and approval pathways. · Collaborate with and influence regulators, Joint Venture Partners, industry bodies, and other stakeholders to achieve positive environmental and project outcomes. · Maintain up‑to‑date awareness of industry standards, legislative changes, innovations, and lessons learned, and support their integration into project practices. Qualifications/Education - Minimum of three years’ experience as an Environmental Advisor within the oil and gas, mining, or renewables sectors, with a preference for onshore project experience. - Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or a related discipline. - Demonstrated diligence, initiative, and a strong commitment to contributing effectively within a small, high‑performing team. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, openly, and professionally with a range of stakeholders. - Strong team player with the ability to operate in a fast‑growing, high‑performance environment and support EHS in achieving its objectives. - Proficient in the use of environmental and project support tools (e.g., GIS, MS Project) to assist with approvals tracking, documentation, and reporting Why Join Us?
