Key Account Manager – Automotive, Electrical Connectors

• Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships at all levels – from technical project teams to executives and managing directors – serving as the central point of contact for our customers • Analyze customers' individual requirements, prioritize them and develop tailored solutions to drive customer and company success • Develop innovative sales strategies, coordinate their implementation and actively contribute to increasing sales and strengthening the company's market position • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences and other events to strengthen customer relationships and explore new business opportunities • Expand existing key accounts in the automotive Tier 1–3 sector and actively acquire and develop new customers with the goal of sustainable growth and revenue increase • Monitor the market and analyze competitor activities as a basis for informed sales strategies and to strengthen the company's position in the automotive sector • Provide worldwide customer support, if required, taking into account international standards and requirements

Job Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or business administration, or a comparable qualification such as vocational training with further qualifications as a technician, master craftsman or business/specialist manager
  • Initial professional experience in the automotive industry (Tier 1–3), in project management and in business development, with a willingness to further expand one's expertise
  • Solid industry knowledge of the automotive sector and an understanding of the specific requirements and challenges of the automotive industry
  • Fluent German and English skills and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and precisely
  • Willingness to travel across Germany (expected 1–3 days per week) and appreciation for direct on-site customer contact
