Senior Health Systems Strategy & Insights Advisor

• Support the competitive intelligence (CI) function across The Cigna Group • Manage the collection, organization, and analysis of competitive and market data • Translate insights into actionable, executive-ready intelligence • Lead CI research and analysis focused on health system, hospital, and provider-owned organization strategies • Analyze health system market dynamics and competitive positioning • Support internal stakeholders with targeted intelligence on health system needs • Partner cross-functionally with various teams to align intelligence outputs • Own end-to-end intelligence cycles • Conduct dissemination, analysis, and ad hoc modeling of competitor and health system financial information • Leverage AI and Copilot tools for provider-market research
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, strategy, consulting, market insights, or a related field (healthcare experience required)
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred; Master’s degree a plus
- Demonstrated expertise using AI, Copilot, and advanced analytics tools to accelerate research, automate workflows, enhance synthesis, and scale intelligence outputs
- Experience designing or operating AI-enabled research processes
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Familiarity with financial statements and provider economics
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization
