Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to nine or more years of relevant work experience
- Ability to travel (local and regional, some national)
- Prior experience in business card sales/payments
- Strong sales and new business development skills, with demonstrated ability to prospect new logo opportunities, conduct curious and consultative discovery, and drive deals from strategy through close
- Experience working with mid‑size to large businesses, including clients with $10MM+ in annual revenue
- Strong credit analysis and financial assessment skills, with understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions
- Proven success developing and leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) to generate new business opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to manage pipeline activity with strong follow‑up and execution discipline
- Solid knowledge of payment products, with general understanding of product marketing and organizational operations
- Strong customer relationship management skills, including negotiation, decision‑making, and creative problem resolution
- Demonstrated ability to partner with internal teams to grow and retain existing portfolio customers
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage leads, activities, and sales performance
