• Reports directly to the Task Order Manager • Providing Project Management support, to include developing and maintaining integrated master schedules • Creating and submitting program related documentation • Preparing and presenting briefings • Providing full conference/meeting support • Preparing senior level strategic briefings and metrics as required by the Government • Supporting all aspects of the development and implementation of IT services projects • Providing analysis and recommendations in support of the resolution of IT-related problems; executing the recommendations as directed by the client • Aiding in the coordination of activities and documents to ensure alignment with plans and directives for delivery of IT solutions • Overall daily responsibility for the delivery of all work products and services on this program • Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management, planning and project team • Oversees the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports • Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives • Ensures the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, project team and clients • Ensures production schedules are met or exceeded • Ensures engineering & technical resources are used effectively and appropriately • Coordinates resolution of deliverable-related problems • Ensures proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services and deliverables • Prioritize efforts to ensure successful client outcome • Uses strong planning and organizational skills to ensure timely completion of all milestones and efforts with minimal client disruption • Provides proactive and responsive customer focused leadership, reaching back to corporate resources to mitigate risks and resolve any issues that may arise
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) required within 6 months of start date
- At least 5 years relevant Project Management experience across the entire project life cycle
- Excellent leadership skills (leading teams of more than 10 personnel)
- Experience managing projects across multiple locations simultaneously
- Related industry experience in information technology or engineering
- Working knowledge Microsoft Office Tools; specifically Excel and Project
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
