• Lead UX‑focused project management for SSO modernization, ensuring user flows, onboarding experiences, and authentication journeys are optimized and consistent. • Partner with VA stakeholders, product owners, and technical leads to translate ICAM requirements into clear UX artifacts (journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, acceptance criteria). • Coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver UX improvements across Entra ID (SSOi) and Okta (SSOe) integrations. • Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables for UX‑related SSO initiatives. • Ensure UX recommendations align with Zero Trust, NIST 800‑63, and VA ICAM standards. • Support change management, communication, and training materials for improved user experience. • Provide executive‑ready reporting, dashboards, and briefings on UX progress and SSO adoption metrics.

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of operations, support engineers, and administrators responsible for the IAM system’s availability, performance, and security. • Ensure the ongoing health and operational status of the IAM system, maintaining high availability, performance monitoring, and reliability. • Oversee incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution to minimize service disruptions and downtime. • Collaborate closely with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to implement reliability improvement strategies, monitoring solutions, and automation processes to enhance system uptime and performance. • Develop and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and management of IAM resources. • Work with agency stakeholders to maintain and improve processes around user access, identity lifecycle management, and compliance. • Coordinate the implementation of new IAM features and upgrades in a manner that aligns with system reliability and security best practices. • Collaborate with security teams to ensure IAM systems adhere to all security requirements, including periodic vulnerability assessments, logging, and auditing. • Drive continuous improvement through automation, monitoring, and proactive issue identification to ensure system scalability and cost-effectiveness. • Ensure compliance with disaster recovery and business continuity requirements, including executing regular failover testing and recovery plans. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve system uptime and service levels.
• Perform Lan/WLAN network design, development, installation/configuration, packaging, testing, implementing, and Tier 3 level troubleshooting of multi-vendor network-related equipment in support of government solutions. • Participate in capturing and analyzing technical requirements; documenting detailed system designs, implementation plans, and operations guides of network systems. • Participate in both project and operational meetings; providing Tier 3 level support utilizing change control processes. • Serve as a reach-back to field engineering teams supporting a variety of infrastructure projects. • Responsible for the research and development of existing and new wireless technologies used to optimize and maintain DOD, commercial and corporate networks. • Design, configuration, implementation, testing and troubleshooting of Wireless and LAN components and networks. • Work with 3rd party and internal departments in integrating wireless equipment with current WAN and security infrastructure. • Optimize LAN/WLAN network performance while fulfilling security requirements for user/device authentication, encryption and intrusion detection, i.e. 802.1x RADIUS Authentication using EAP-TLS. • Responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and modification of network hardware and software. • Provide tier 3 support with LAN/WLAN networks, client devices, including hand-held devices and associated LAN and WAN connectivity. • Document installed networks, to include systems design, operations and implementations guides, Visio design drawings, etc. • Maintain the security and integrity of all wireless hardware and software.
