• Work both collaboratively and independently to design production infrastructure that prioritizes resiliency, observability, and cost-efficiency. • Shape mission-critical solutions using optimized CI/CD pipelines that integrate automated security controls and compliance checks. • Help build and maintain infrastructure within FedRAMP authorized boundaries, ensuring continuous compliance with NIST 800-53 controls. • Orchestrate containerized workloads to ensure high availability, implementing self-healing patterns and automated scaling. • Proactively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences and share your expertise to help the team develop. • Participate in planning, identify areas for improvement, and join an on-call rotation to maintain the health of our cloud solutions.

• Engineering, stabilizing, and monitoring the CI/CD platform — including incident response, capacity planning, and infrastructure management • Designing and standardizing pipelines using GitHub Actions, integrating build tools, testing frameworks, and deployment automation • Integrating CI/CD systems with agency tools including GitHub, Nexus/Artifactory, and ServiceNow • Managing AWS infrastructure (ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS Fargate) and building IaC using CloudFormation and/or CDK • Enhancing DevSecOps capabilities including SBOM generation, SCA, dependency vulnerability management, and IaC scanning • Automating compliance processes through OSCAL integration and ATO evidence collection • Monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, and exploring AI/ML tooling for vulnerability prioritization and automated code review.

• Plan, implement and maintain scalable, reliable and secure infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, CloudWatch, S3, IAM) • Manage and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines and Jenkins • Automate provisioning and infrastructure management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK • Ensure effective observability and monitoring of systems with tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana • Take proactive responsibility for infrastructure security practices (DevSecOps), IAM policies, audits and continuous vulnerability analysis • Provide technical leadership during incidents, conducting root cause analyses, corrective actions and preventive measures (post-mortem) • Mentor the team and promote a DevOps culture, automation and continuous improvement of processes and tools • Collaborate directly with internal teams to define development and deployment standards aligned with industry best practices.
