The Role At Edged, we are scaling at an unprecedented pace. We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the commercial strategy and lifecycle management for our most critical infrastructure categories (Power, Cooling, and Modular Solutions). You will be the primary architect of our category strategies, responsible for navigating a volatile global market to secure capacity and drive industry-leading value. This is a senior-level individual contributor role that requires a blend of technical curiosity, advanced negotiation skills, and the ability to influence executive stakeholders both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies for high-spend categories. You won't just buy equipment; you will define how we buy, identifying opportunities for global frame agreements and volume leverage. - Serve as the lead for our most strategic partnerships. You will manage executive-level relationships, lead QBRs, and drive continuous improvement in quality, sustainability, and cost. - Lead complex, contract negotiations. You are responsible for the full commercial lifecycle from RFP drafting and bid leveling to final MSA execution and risk mitigation. - Identify and vet "second-source" opportunities to de-risk our pipeline. You will stay ahead of market trends, geopolitical shifts, and commodity fluctuations to ensure Edged is never "sole-sourced" into a corner. - Own the $/MW performance for your categories. You will drive "Value Engineering" efforts with Engineering and Construction to reduce TCO without sacrificing quality or speed-to-market. - Act as a strategic advisor to key stakeholders. You will provide the market intelligence and cost predictability required for our capital raises and portfolio planning. What You Bring: - You don't just solve today's shortage; you anticipate next year's bottleneck. You understand how supply chain serves as a competitive advantage for a data center platform. - You have a proven track record of leading complex negotiations with global Tier-1 industrial suppliers. You know how to create leverage in a "seller's market." - You use data to tell a story and drive decisions. You can move seamlessly from a detailed "Should-Cost" model to an executive-level summary. Experience: - 6–10 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Global Supply Management, or Category Management. Specific experience in the Data Center or Energy industries is highly preferred. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field; MBA or JD is a significant advantage given the complexity of our global contracts. EEO Statement: Edged is an equal opportunities employer. We believe in ensuring equal access to employment opportunities for all. We assess candidate qualifications and make recruiting decisions based on the experience, capabilities and skills you share with us in your application and applicable materials. Hiring and employment decisions within Edged are not based on religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or marital, veteran, or disability status. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.  Total Rewards Statement: - This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending and HSA accounts; paid holidays; PTO; employee assistance program; and other company benefits. - Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, location, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. Great Place to Work Enjoy… - A fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture focused on innovation. - A flexible, autonomous work environment. - A culture of respect, learning, and excellence. - Experienced, highly talented experts as team peers. - Growth and travel opportunities. - A team of change-makers having a significant impact on people and the planet.
