Supply Chain Analyst IV
TalentWerx
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies and networks to support programs, new business opportunities, and proposals. • Use analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. • Assemble data, analyze performance, identify problems, and develop recommendations to support program planning and operations. • Monitor key performance indicators, analyze cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinate cross-functional work teams to increase supply chain initiatives' effectiveness. • Analyze production planning, material procurement, inventory control, rate setting, outsourcing, vendor selection and retention, expediting, analyzing, and distribution. • Monitor contract compliance and other logistics service providers. • Develop analytical reports and analysis to support negotiations with suppliers who provide goods and services. • Report on operational performance measurements and purchase price variance analysis. • Negotiate with third-party providers as necessary. • Work with other departments, as well as with distributors, transporters, storage facilities, and suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3 -10 years of experience
- Recognized as an emerging authority, applying extensive technical expertise
- Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems
- Ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience in production planning, material procurement, inventory control, and vendor management
- Proficient in monitoring contract compliance and logistics service providers
- Ability to develop analytical reports and perform detailed performance analysis
- Experience in negotiating with third-party providers and suppliers
- Strong organizational and cross-functional coordination skills
