IT Business Analyst, Data Analyst
PAX
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from our ERP, CRM, and other business systems. • Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI / Tableau / Excel. • Analyze data trends to help department heads (Finance, Sales, Ops) make informed decisions. • Ensure data integrity by regularly auditing reports against source systems. • Implement data pipelines using tools such as Boomi, Celigo or Airflow. • Meet with stakeholders to understand their pain points and document requirements for new system features or reports. • Create process flowcharts and documentation to map out current business workflows. • Serve as the functional expert for our core applications. • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades or new implementations to ensure nothing breaks. • Provide support for complex application issues that require data investigation or logic analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role.
- Strong hands-on experience writing SQL queries, Views, and Stored Procedures is mandatory.
- Proven experience building reports in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or SSRS.
- Advanced proficiency (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP) for quick ad-hoc analysis.
- Experience administering or configuring ERP, CRM, or HRIS platforms is a strong plus.
