• You will be the company's primary tax authority, responsible for structuring the Tax function and ensuring that high-impact decisions are made based on a solid technical foundation aligned with the business strategy. • You will work primarily across four main fronts: • Tax Strategy: Map tax risks and opportunities, define priorities, and lead the development of Zippi's Tax strategy — including offshore structures and funding vehicles. • Strategic Projects: Lead and support priority initiatives such as corporate restructurings, implementation of tax reform, and decisions related to interest on equity (JCP), ensuring technical rigor and agility in execution. • Tax Governance: Centralize tax discussions internally to reduce dependence on external consultants and fragmentation across teams, implementing consistent routines, processes, and governance. • Strategic Partnership: Work closely with leadership and founders, translating tax complexity into clear, pragmatic, and actionable recommendations for business decisions.
Job Requirements
- Solid experience in corporate taxation, with depth in direct taxes and international tax.
- Knowledge of direct taxes, international tax, and taxation of financial income.
- Experience with taxation in the financial markets.
- Experience with corporate structures and restructurings that have tax impact.
- Minimum of 6 years' prior experience in tax roles.
- Fluent English for work on international matters.
- Degree in Law or Accounting, with postgraduate studies in Tax Law, Accounting, or related fields.
- Pragmatic mindset focused on enabling solutions with controlled risk, balancing efficiency and safety.
- Executive-level communication to translate complex tax topics into clear guidance for non-technical leaders.
- Stakeholder influence and management, coordinating different internal areas and external partners.
- Proactivity and sense of ownership, anticipating risks and driving execution of priority agendas.
