MuleSoft QA Engineer

Talentus Global

• Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for MuleSoft integration solutions. • Validate APIs and integration flows across System, Process, and Experience layers. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of MuleSoft applications. • Test RESTful and SOAP APIs using appropriate tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI). • Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria. • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting. • Perform data validation and ensure accuracy of data transformations (DataWeave). • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation activities. • Contribute to test automation efforts and maintain automated test scripts where applicable. • Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing methodologies, and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in software testing, with exposure to integration or API testing.
  • Experience testing MuleSoft applications or similar integration platforms is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of API testing concepts, including REST and SOAP services.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
  • Knowledge of JSON, XML, and data validation techniques.
  • Familiarity with DataWeave transformations is a plus.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools ( JIRA, HP ALM).
  • Basic knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Advanced English proficiency skills (C1) required.
  • Must have experience working for US clients
