HRIS Manager
Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Workday Core HCM, including Benefits, Performance Management, Talent Management, Compensation, and Recruiting. • Configure and maintain Workday business processes in alignment with best practices and evolving business requirements. • Support Workday Benefits events, including Open Enrollment, and compensation cycles across Core and Advanced Compensation. • Design, configure, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics, including ad hoc, scheduled, matrix, and composite reports with calculated fields. • Ensure reporting solutions are optimized to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy. • Coordinate and maintain regulatory and compliance reporting, including EEO‑1 reporting, and effectively explain results to HR and business partners. • Administer Workday Security, including role‑based, user‑based, and business process security. • Oversee Workday testing and development environments, identifying, resolving, and escalating issues as needed. • Lead the review, testing, and deployment of bi‑annual Workday releases, including impact assessment, coordination with stakeholders, and post‑release validation. • Analyze end‑to‑end HR business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation. • Document complex process models, system configurations, and workflows.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, HR, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with Workday Core HCM
- 5+ years of experience configuring business processes and system build in Workday Core HCM; including extensive experience with business processes best practices.
- Solid knowledge of HR systems structure, functions, and processes.
- Experience with Workday Security Administration.
- Experience with custom and standard Workday reporting including calculated fields, matrix reports, and composite reporting.
- Experience in Workday Benefits events, such as Open Enrollment.
- Experience with Workday Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent, and Performance functional areas.
- Experience building and testing Workday integrations and performing EIB uploads.
- Workday PRO Certification in one or more functional areas.
- Prior Workday implementation experience (new tenant, new modules, or major enhancements).
