We’re seeking a Product Specialist to support product understanding, pricing strategy, customer needs, and coordination across cross‑functional teams. This role works with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Technology, and other internal partners to support product decisions, pricing activities, claim substantiation, and knowledge management.

Job Requirements

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Product Knowledge & Support
  • Support discussions on product features, use cases, and pricing variables
  • Coordinate with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Technology teams to evaluate new product opportunities, develop business cases, and support pricing strategy decisions
  • Support internal and external understanding of current products through training and information sessions
  • Communicate product information in clear, accessible terms
  • Pricing Strategy
  • Develop and maintain pricing models and pricing data
  • Participate in pricing strategy reviews with Sales, Finance, and Product Management
  • Monitor pricing changes, revenue trends, and margin impact
  • Prepare pricing recommendations using market input and historical data
  • Manage pricing approvals and maintain updated pricing materials
  • Provide pricing support for quotes, proposals, and customer requests
  • Use Excel, including pivot tables, to analyze pricing data
  • Ensure customer‑facing and pricing materials remain updated as offerings change
  • Customer Engagement & Support
  • Serve as a point of contact during pre‑sales and post‑sales activity
  • Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for product use and retention
  • Knowledge Management & Claim Substantiation
  • Maintain internal product information and knowledge repositories
  • Support claim substantiation by gathering data and coordinating with Legal, Regulatory, and Technical teams
  • Keep documentation and evidence updated and accessible
  • Align claims and supporting information with approved guidelines and current offerings
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Provide customer insights and field input to Product Management
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Implementation, and Support to ensure consistent communication
  • Contribute to FAQs, case studies, and other product‑related materials
  • Qualifications:
  • Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2–5 years in product support, pricing, product operations, pre‑sales engineering, or technical customer‑facing roles
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to explain technical and pricing concepts in simple terms
  • Experience using data for insights and decision support
  • Preferred
  • Experience with pricing tools and analytics platforms
  • SAP usage for product or pricing workflows
  • Familiarity with CRM and quoting tools
  • Ability to work with proactive self‑direction
