Aerospace Program Manager

• Unlock the power of Safety and Mission Critical Engineering with QDSS. • Seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Program Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of complex programs. • This role requires strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and effective stakeholder management. • Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. • Manage multiple engineering teams and projects for aerospace clients. • Responsible for operational performance including financial, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and other key metrics identified by the organization. • Collaborate with resource managers internally and externally to staff projects. • Support recruitment initiatives, including technical interviews and onboarding of new hires.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of aerospace experience, including direct involvement in DO-178 and/or DO-254 programs.
  • Proven experience managing aerospace development programs through proposal, development, and certification phases.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple Firm Fixed Price avionics programs from bid to closeout.
  • Strong understanding of design, testing, and certification processes.
  • Ability to translate technical scope into schedules and budgets for proposals.
  • Experience managing remote and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with customers, engineers, and Sales teams.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • US Citizen

The ideal candidate is a true program manager with excellent organizational navigation skills, and strong stakeholder management and engagement capabilities. Program Leadership & Strategy Lead and manage a multi-workstream Sales and Marketing Transformation program from planning through execution and benefits realization. Planning, Execution & Governance Structure, launch, and oversee multiple related projects to ensure they deliver against agreed outcomes, timelines, and budgets. Create and maintain integrated program plans and schedules, including key milestones, dependencies, and critical path. Establish and run program governance routines (steering committees, working sessions, status reviews), ensuring decisions and actions are clearly documented and followed through. Drive disciplined change management to control scope, quality, schedule, cost, and vendor/partner commitments. Stakeholder Management & Communication Engage and influence leaders and stakeholders across functions (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc.).
