The Senior Data Analyst partners with business and technical teams to design, build, and support healthcare data warehouse and reporting solutions. This role leads requirements gathering, develops and supports ETL processes using Informatica, writes advanced Teradata SQL, and ensures high quality, compliant data delivery. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Primary Responsibilities: - Gathering business requirements for the data warehouse as well as business intelligence reports used by the Virginia DMAS management. Adhere to development process and creating and posting all documents, deliverables such as the Business Requirements Document (BRD), production implementation documents, etc - Analyzing existing design and recommending industry best practice design for optimal performance and maintenance - Applying Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience, including Analysis, Design and Review of Business and Software Requirement Specifications, and Testing as per the SDLC waterfall methodology - Participating in project meetings/design groups as a team member with other Data Analysts to design, engineer and develop solutions - Communication with the business analyst and project manager on daily basis including meetings and written communications - Assisting the Project Manager/Team lead in providing the estimation of project status. Work on the given timelines to ensure quality delivery happens on time - Expert in analyzing (reviewing) the business, technical and functional requirements to develop the Test plans, Test cases, Test Scripts, Use Cases and Test strategies - Testing skills include performing Regression, Integration, Functional, System, Database, end to end testing, volume, and stress testing as well as development, execution, Test specifications and Test scenarios - Build and optimize extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Informatica PowerCenter to move data from heterogeneous source systems into enterprise data warehouses or operational data stores - Support on call for production loads and resolve ETL load failures, database performance issues, data mismatches, and dependency failures in a timely manner - Develop and maintain advanced Teradata SQL, including joins, window functions, and complex analytical queries You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience with Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience - 6+ years of hands-on experience with healthcare domain knowledge; working with healthcare data, including claims, eligibility, provider data, encounter processing, HIPAA regulations, and government/compliance driven data integrations - 6+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration using ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter/IDQ - 4+ years of experience working with Teradata databases, including hands-on development using BTEQ scripts, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT (Teradata Parallel Transporter) utilities - 3+ years of experience developing Test plans, Test cases, Test Scripts, Use Cases and Test strategies - 2+ years of experience testing the, Informatica mappings and other ETL Processes (Data Warehouse Testing) - Software Skills: Informatica, Teradata, Unix shell script, Oracle skills - Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Responsibilities Arcfield is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. • Build and sustain the construction data pipeline, targeting same-day delivery of quality construction analytics • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements • Develop and maintain deep understanding of data collection technologies (both capabilities and limitations) and collaborate within Operations to tailor data collection to analytic output targets • Continuously improve the speed and quality of deliverables by identifying data analysis pipeline bottlenecks and opportunities
