Data Modeling and Design - Design and maintain document-oriented data models, ensuring they support current and future business requirements. - Create and maintain data model visualizations to support cross-team alignment and architectural documentation. Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years' experience in data engineering, with a focus on streaming and batch data pipelines. - Strong proficiency in Python and/or Kotlin/Java. - Hands-on experience with streaming (e.g. Kafka) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB or DocumentDB). - Experience with AWS cloud services - including Lambda, GlueJobs, Eventbridge, S3 and CDK. - Solid understanding of data modeling for document-oriented databases. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a cloud-native environment. - Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments is a plus. - Strong communicator, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Fluent English; Spanish and/or German proficiency is a plus.
