Junior Licensing and Operations Specialist
Acronis
• Track and manage software licenses, including renewals, expirations, and lifecycle milestones (end-of-support/end-of-life) • Maintain accurate records of software assets and licenses in asset management systems • Assist in monitoring license usage and identifying opportunities for optimization and cost savings • Support software audits by collecting documentation, tracking compliance, and coordinating with stakeholders • Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Microsoft, VMware) to support licensing needs, renewals, and basic inquiries • Process software and IT-related purchase requests, ensuring completeness and timely execution • Act as a liaison between IT, procurement, and requestors to support purchasing workflows • Assist with procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, including order tracking and documentation • Support IT budgeting activities by tracking spend and providing basic reporting • Conduct basic market research to support purchasing decisions and vendor selection
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in IT operations, procurement, licensing, or a related area
- Strong interest in working in a fast-paced technology or SaaS environment
- Advanced Excel skills in collecting and analyzing data
- Basic understanding of hardware specifications and parts is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams, with business-level English proficiency
- Eagerness to take initiative and learn new tools, systems, and processes
