CTG is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Epic Caboodle and Clarity Analyst to join our team. The Epic Caboodle & Clarity Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s enterprise data warehouse, reporting infrastructure, and analytics environment through expert knowledge of Epic Caboodle and Clarity. This role ensures accurate, timely, and well‑structured data is available for operational reporting, regulatory submissions, quality initiatives, and strategic analytics. The analyst partners with application teams, reporting teams, data engineers, and operational leaders to maintain data integrity and deliver high‑quality insights. Qualifications Required - Experience with Epic Caboodle, Clarity, or enterprise data warehouse environments. - Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational database concepts. - Ability to analyze complex data structures and translate them into actionable insights. - Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. - Epic Caboodle Data Model certification or Clarity Data Model certification. Key Responsibilities Epic Caboodle Responsibilities - Maintain and enhance Caboodle data models, subject areas, and ETL processes. - Support data ingestion, transformation, and validation activities to ensure accurate population of the Caboodle data warehouse. - Collaborate with data engineers to optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot data pipeline issues. - Assist with extending Caboodle models to support new operational or analytical needs. - Participate in Caboodle upgrades, testing, and validation of new content releases. - Ensure Caboodle structures align with Epic best practices and organizational data governance standards. Epic Clarity Responsibilities - Support Clarity database structures, including tables, views, and extract logic. - Troubleshoot Clarity extract issues and ensure timely delivery of refreshed data. - Work with application analysts to understand workflow changes and their impact on Clarity data models. - Assist with Clarity upgrades, schema changes, and validation activities. - Maintain documentation of Clarity mappings, data lineage, and extract schedules. Reporting & Analytics Support - Partner with reporting teams to ensure data availability for Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, dashboards, and enterprise analytics tools. - Provide subject‑matter expertise on Epic data structures, table relationships, and data interpretation. - Assist with complex SQL queries, data validation, and troubleshooting data discrepancies. - Support regulatory, quality, and operational reporting initiatives by ensuring accurate data sources. Data Governance & Quality - Participate in data governance activities, including data definitions, standards, and stewardship. - Monitor data quality and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve inconsistencies. - Maintain documentation of data models, ETL processes, and system configurations. - Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements. Cross‑Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Epic application teams to understand workflow changes and their downstream data impacts. - Collaborate with IT, analytics, and operational teams to support new initiatives and reporting needs. - Participate in project planning, requirements gathering, testing, and go‑live support for data‑related projects. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. • Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and IT teams to understand and optimize Epic modules for research-related workflows. • Configure and customize Epic applications to support data collection, analysis, and reporting in the fields of genomics and cosmos research. • Work closely with genomics researchers to integrate genomic data into the Epic EHR system. • Configure and maintain interfaces between Epic and genomics platforms to ensure accurate and secure data exchange. • Collaborate with researchers to develop interfaces for integrating cosmos-related data into the Epic system. • Implement solutions for tracking and documenting cosmic-related research data within the Epic environment. • Conduct workflow analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement in research-related activities within the Epic system. • Implement changes and optimizations to streamline research workflows and enhance data accuracy. • Provide training to end-users, researchers, and clinicians on the use of Epic applications in the context of genomics and cosmos research. • Act as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting and support related to research-specific Epic functionalities. • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in the handling and storage of genomics and cosmos-related data within the Epic system. • Collaborate with compliance officers to implement and maintain necessary security measures. • Document configuration changes, workflows, and integrations within the Epic system. • Generate reports and analyses to support research initiatives and compliance requirements.
