Operations Analyst

Symetra

Role Description Responsible for Operations functions involving new and in-force Products. Maintains a high degree of initiative and an in-depth knowledge of products, operations and the Symetra organization. Works independently on day-to-day activities, documentation of new and existing processes, and possesses the ability to lead a project and/or remediation to successful completion. - Creation, analyzation and maintenance of procedures and processes, identifies and implements ideas for improved efficiency. - Lead and facilitate operations-based projects focusing on: - System changes - Process improvements - Remediations - Product enhancements and launches - Legal and compliance updates - Other core operational functions - System support and testing, responsible for User Acceptance Testing for new and existing system enhancements for your functional area and product line. - Provide technical training support and daily production support as needed for both internal and external teams. - Operational duties include but are not limited to: - Generation and analysis of contracts and/or agreements - Reporting and metrics - Analytics - Auditing in support of measuring group operations productivity and effectiveness - Support of internal business partners, including but not limited to Finance, Sales, Compliance, Law, Business Analysts, and other internal business partners. Qualifications - College degree or equivalent work experience preferred. - 2-5 years experience. - Excellent written and oral communications. - Advanced problem solving skills. - High level of attention to detail. - High school diploma required.
