Senior Accountant
IBISWorld
• IBISWorld is looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of our month‑end and year-end close. • Uphold trial balance accuracy and drive budgeting and forecasting for four international entities. • Act as IBISWorld’s financial accuracy expert, ensuring statutory integrity and maintaining strong controls that enable smooth financial operations. • Work directly with our Staff Accountant to support key accounting activities. • Driving efficient and scalable accounting processes. • Reporting to the Global VP of Finance, you will bring effective communication skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA qualified a plus.
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Multi-entity and international exposure preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Experience with AIFRS and UK GAAP is an advantage.
- Extensive, hands‑on ownership of month‑end and year‑end close processes, along with balance sheet reconciliations.
- Proven ability to support budgeting and forecasting cycles through precise financial inputs, variance analysis, and coordination of planning activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with NetSuite Accounting software a plus.

The Opportunity: Senior AccountantAs a Senior Accountant at Eve Legal, you will be a key contributor to our foundational accounting operations. Reporting to the Controller, you will own core accounting processes, perform reconciliations, and help build scalable workflows from the ground up. You'll partner cross-functionally to ensure financial accuracy and compliance, and play an integral role in supporting the company's hypergrowth phase.
