Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of in leading technical and cross-functional projects/programs
- Possess knowledge of Project Management methodologies (for example: Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Traditional PMI methods, etc.)
- Demonstrate expertise using Atlassian Toolset (Jira, Confluence) and project management platforms like Workfront or Smartsheet.
- Show capability to interact with stakeholders empathetically, think critically in projects, and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new skills and systems
- Possess drive for learning program management and process improvement techniques.

Title: Program Manager, Project SEED Location: Washington United States Job Description: The Program Manager of Project SEED in the ACS Student Experiences leads ACS Project SEED Summer Program and scholarship operations including disbursements and communication with students and university administration. The incumbent will work with staff to ensure the needs of SEED students are addressed by ACS programs, products, and services. The position reports to the Sr Portfolio Manager of Student Experience. This position will collaborate with internal units and external organizations as needed to advance ACS strategic interests and contribute to other Student Experiences as well as ACS wide initiatives as needed. Position Accountabilities: - Manages the day-to-day operations of Project SEED's summer program in collaboration with the team members of Student Experiences. - Manages SEED project proposal lifecycle, including call for proposals, proposal review, feedback on proposals, student applications, award disbursement, recordkeeping, operational systems, and compliances. - Collaboratively works with units to create, modify, facilitate and support professional development and educational resources for SEED, ACS Scholarships, and LEADS stakeholders. - Manages the collaborative implementation of policy, guidelines, and compliances for SEED coordinators, mentors, and reviewers, including implementation of the Youth Protection Policy. - Manages the SEED Scholarships application and review life cycle in conjunction with the SEED Committee including award disbursement. The ability to think strategically, solutions focused, demonstrate responsibility, diligence, timeliness, responsiveness, and commitment are a must. Experience with facilitating workshops, leading strategic planning, and data management are a plus. Technical knowledge desired: Microsoft Office, application/review management systems (i.e. Foundant, Salesforce), research tools (e.g. Qualtrics) data analysis and visualization tools, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat. This position will be primarily based in the Washington D.C. office. ACS employees work on a hybrid work schedule. ACS employees are in the office two days a week.
