Automation QA Engineer

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Tosca, or Katalon • Conduct end-to-end testing across web, database, and API layers • Use AI tools to optimize QA processes and speed up testing cycles • Apply user-centric testing approaches to identify real-world edge cases and usability gaps • Collaborate with developers to debug issues, verify fixes, and improve release quality • Suggest process improvements and contribute to a culture of product reliability and excellence • Analyze testing results, maintain documentation, and continuously improve automation coverage
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation or software testing
- Strong understanding of automation testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Tosca, or Katalon)
- Familiarity with AI tools for product QA and workflow automation
- Proficiency in database testing and API validation
- Excellent logical reasoning, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Ability to think both critically and creatively, seeing from both technical and user perspectives
- Fast learner with adaptability to evolving tools and testing environments
- Experience in performance or load testing (Nice-to-Have)
- Exposure to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD integrations (Nice-to-Have)
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting languages (Nice-to-Have)
- Understanding of UX testing principles or accessibility standards (Nice-to-Have)

• Ejecutar pruebas manuales funcionales, de regresión, integración, sistema y UAT según planes y casos de prueba definidos. • Analizar requerimientos y crear casos de prueba detallados que garanticen cobertura completa. • Identificar, documentar y dar seguimiento a defectos, asegurando pasos claros para su reproducción. • Revisar y validar resultados de pruebas de otros testers o proveedores externos, garantizando consistencia y cobertura. • Colaborar con equipos de desarrollo, producto y DevOps para la resolución de incidencias y mejora continua. • Participar en reuniones de sprint, planning y retroalimentación para aportar la perspectiva de QA. • Apoyar en la preparación de pruebas automatizadas, proporcionando casos adecuados y ejecutando scripts básicos si es necesario.
