Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Broker API, Partner-Facing Application
AlpacaDB
• Own projects that push the boundaries of Alpaca’s internal tools and systems. • Work across domains to build features end to end, gaining exposure to the full spectrum of Alpaca’s infrastructure. • Stay deeply connected to the needs of internal operations teams, building tools that streamline workflows and reduce manual effort. • Drive architectural design conversations, helping shape scalable, intuitive, and reliable systems. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. • Play a key role in improving our response times and helping internal teams provide world-class customer support. • Work directly with stakeholders, maintain relationships, and implement solutions that have a direct impact on Alpaca operations. • Take ownership of high-visibility, high-impact initiatives with autonomy and accountability.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Golang & TypeScript/React.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to collect and translate stakeholder requirements into fully realized features.
- Proficient in TypeScript and React.
- Proficient in HTML and CSS frameworks such as TailwindCSS.
- Proficient in at least one modern systems programming language like Golang or C#.
- Passionate about creating intuitive and performant user interfaces.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience with REST APIs and best practices.
- Attention to detail and an appreciation for design aesthetics.
