Job DescriptionThis role is primarily hybrid across various locations, going into the office as expected. Travel will be 10% / 15% expected within Europe. In this role, key responsibilities will include: - Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of procurement professionals across the UK and Europe. - Regional Strategy Execution: Translate global category strategies into actionable regional plans. For "Regional-Heavy" categories (e.g., Systems Integration, Deployment Services), you will lead the strategy for supplier density and selection. - Supplier Selection & Negotiation: Lead regional sourcing events and contract negotiations for local/regional suppliers. Ensure all contracts meet regional legal, tax, and compliance requirements. - Global Collaboration: Partner with Global Category Managers to provide regional insights on "Global & Infrastructure" categories (e.g., Servers, Fleet, Contract Labor), ensuring global standards are adapted for local power requirements and regulations. - Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary procurement point of contact for regional business leaders, ensuring procurement activities support local business objectives. - Performance & Metrics: Implement and monitor supplier performance metrics and KPIs in alignment with global best practices. - Risk Management: Identify and mitigate regional supply chain risks, ensuring a resilient footprint across the UK and Europe. Basic Requirements - Bachelor's Degree (in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Engineering). - 8+ years of Procurement Category Management or equivalent - 4+ years of Management Experience - Must be able to speak English fluently - 10-15% travel required Preferred Requirements: - Defence Procurement experience - Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both global leadership and local execution teams. - Experience in the support of large/complex supplier deals potentially including Hardware, Software, and Services integrated solutions with customer flow down requirements. - Proven track record of leading complex negotiations and managing multi-country RFPs. - Experience in the areas of System Integration such as Civil Works Equipment and Services, Professional Services, Software, Applications and/or emerging technologies.
