• Coaching, leading and developing Area Managers • Managing persons in outside sales within the assigned region • Hiring and training new area managers • Presenting and selling company products and services to current and potential clients • Preparing action plans and schedules to identify specific targets • Identifying sales prospects and contacting these and other accounts as assigned • Developing and maintaining sales materials and current product knowledge • Establishing and maintaining client relationships • Managing Area Managers through quality checks and other follow-up • Identifying and resolving client concerns • Preparing a variety of status reports • Communicating new product and service opportunities to appropriate staff • Developing and implementing special sales activities to reduce dealer attrition • Participating in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events • Traveling required throughout the assigned territory
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years sales management
- High energy and with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and various sales software applications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a closely related field
