Development Lead (SAP Technical) Role Overview The SAP Development Lead oversees all SAP custom development initiatives, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions across ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and integration layers. Key Responsibilities • Lead a team of developers delivering custom solutions across SAP modules. • Define development standards, code review processes, and technical documentation. • Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs. • Manage performance optimization, transport management, and release planning. • Mentor and guide junior developers and coordinate offshore teams. • Support technical design for integrations, extensions, and enhancements. Required Skills • Expertise in ABAP (OO, CDS, BOPF, AMDP) and Fiori/UI5 development. • Experience with S/4HANA extensibility frameworks and BTP. • Strong understanding of SAP development lifecycle (ALM, CTS, GIT). • Excellent leadership and coordination skills. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. • 8+ years of SAP development experience with 2–3 years in a lead role. • SAP Certified Development Specialist preferred. • Own best practice SAP solutions within SAP ECC & S/4HANA • Identify improvement opportunities and deliver effective solutions • Participate in the requirement gathering process for new software functionality • Convert business requirements to technical requirements and prepare technical specification documents • Deliver SAP ABAP technical objects as per the design in a timely manner • Operate with minimal supervision and coordinate in a global team for continuous delivery

• Lead SAP SD workstreams in implementation and enhancement projects. • Act as the Tax Reform focal point for SD, leading design decisions and defining system impacts within the module. • Assess and implement Brazilian Tax Reform impacts (CBS, IBS, IS) in order-to-cash processes, pricing, billing, and tax determination. • Disseminate Tax Reform knowledge to stakeholders, ensuring alignment across Sales, Finance, and IT teams. • Configure SAP SD (pricing, billing, outputs, credit management, intercompany, returns, etc.). • Ensure proper integration with FI, MM, and tax engines. • Coordinate RICEFW developments with technical teams. • Support SIT, UAT, go-live, and hypercare activities. • Mentor junior consultants and promote knowledge transfer initiatives.
