Accounting Analyst

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Provide complete, timely, relevant, and verifiable accounting and financial information that enables Jala Global's CFO, Accounting Manager, and General Manager to evaluate alternatives and make decisions. • Coordination with the rest of the areas to ensure compliance with the Company's policies and procedures, including the Purchasing process.. • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Participate in the planning of preliminary and final audit tasks. Assist auditors throughout the process. Prepare and deliver the documentation and information requested for audit procedures. • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies. • Responsible for accounting closing and associated tasks, including bank reconciliations, asset amortization calculations, reconciliation of the Fixed Assets module with accounting, issuing invoices to clients in the accounting system, recording payments and reconciling client accounts, analyzing accounting accounts, recording entries and provisions received from the People department.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting ( Is a MUST)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
- IFRS knowledge and experience (Is a MUST)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks or similar is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English; advanced level is preferred.

Headway is seeking a Manager, Revenue Accounting to help lead and scale the revenue accounting function. In this role, you will translate the revenue accounting strategy set by the Director of Revenue Accounting into a best-in-class operating model. You will own the day-to-day execution of revenue accounting, lead and develop a team of Senior Revenue Accountants, and drive continuous improvements across processes, systems, and controls.
