Role Description The Credentialing & Project Coordination Specialist is responsible for supporting provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and provider onboarding activities while serving as a key operational partner to the Strategic Initiatives team. This role ensures providers are credentialed and enrolled accurately and timely while coordinating project activities, tracking deliverables, facilitating communication, and supporting implementation of strategic organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities across provider operations, credentialing, payer relations, and project management functions in a value-based primary care environment. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred. - 2+ years of experience in provider credentialing or payer enrollment. - Experience working with Medicare Advantage, Medicare, and Medicaid plan enrollment processes. - Knowledge of provider credentialing and payer enrollment processes. - Strong organizational and project coordination skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Requirements - Experience in value-based care, primary care, or multi-site provider organizations. - Experience using credentialing software, CAQH, payer portals, and provider enrollment systems. - Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. - Experience with SharePoint and Power BI. • Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements—balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements—ensuring precision and attention to detail. • Provide senior management with detailed financial reports, offering valuable insights and strategic recommendations. • Supervise general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and period-end closing processes. • Ensure accurate recording of transactions, maintain proper documentation, and oversee compliance with accounting standards. • Develop and implement robust internal control procedures to protect company assets, reduce risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. • Manage interactions with external auditors during the annual audit process. • Direct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend forecasting, to assess financial performance, identify risks, and uncover opportunities. • Oversee the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts. • Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting. • Supervise cash flow monitoring (weekly cash flow forecast) and oversee the invoice payment and approval process. • Evaluate and enhance accounting processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. • Manage and review the work of staff accountants, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
