About the team The KYC team focuses on driving operational excellence by automating and optimizing processes for Airwallex's internal ops teams. Reporting to the Engineering Director, you’ll manage engineering projects across distribution centers and plant‑based warehouses, with responsibility for developing warehouse process and infrastructure improvement strategies that maximize asset effectiveness while maintaining capital and repair and maintenance (R&M) spend within budget. You’ll provide enterprise ownership and execution leadership for powered industrial equipment (PIT) and industrial racking systems across the manufacturing and distribution network, including standards development, lifecycle strategy, capital planning, and safe, reliable execution across ambient, refrigerated, and frozen environments. You’ll partner closely with automation and operations teams to ensure facilities and equipment are automation‑ready and serve as a key member of the Transportation and Warehouse support team, contributing leadership, execution discipline, and cross‑functional collaboration across the network.
