• Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce engineers, supporting career growth through coaching, feedback, and hands-on guidance. • Drive the architectural vision and technical roadmap for GitLab's Salesforce platform and integrated go-to-market applications, with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and compliance. • Champion the integration of AI-native solutions within operations and go-to-market systems and within engineering workflows to improve efficiency and unlock new capabilities. • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Operations) to translate business needs into a prioritized engineering backlog and delivery plan. • Provide technical leadership on complex challenges by contributing to solution design, reviewing code, and guiding implementation across the Salesforce ecosystem. • Own operational excellence for the team, including sprint planning, capacity management, removing blockers, and ensuring high-velocity, high-quality delivery. • Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including source control, continuous integration and continuous deployment, release management, code quality, and platform governance. • Lead large-scale programs and integrations across Salesforce and other key business systems, introducing automation and process improvements to help GitLab scale.

The Role: Salesforce Administrator (Platform & Integrations) The Salesforce Administrator serves as a primary steward of the platform’s declarative architecture. This role owns configuration standards, safeguards data integrity, and ensures solutions are scalable and well-governed. You will operate with independence and partner closely with developers and business stakeholders to deliver sustainable, enterprise-grade solutions. • Help clients continually improve and enhance their Salesforce platform • Gather requirements and feedback, design scalable best practice solutions • Manage the product roadmap • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules • Salesforce configuration changes including Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, etc. • Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge • Sandbox environment management • Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions • Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders • Own communication of platform changes to end users and stakeholders • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, and Health Check • User support tickets and improving user adoption • New user and ongoing user training • Management of integrated applications and third-party suppliers
