• Own the fraud, identity, and appeasements product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap. • Drive the evolution of Instacart's real-time fraud detection and identity platform. • Champion an AI-native, AI-first approach to fraud and trust. • Define policies, guardrails, and product capabilities for order-issue resolution. • Identify new opportunities and produce clear product reviews. • Collaborate closely with Data Science, ML Engineering, and Fraud Operations teams.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years focused on fraud, trust & safety, risk, identity, or a related high-stakes platform domain.
- Demonstrated ability to set product vision and strategy independently.
- Proven track record driving measurable business outcomes in fraud prevention or risk management.
- Strong experience working with ML/data science teams on fraud detection models.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, data science, finance, legal, and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON - Own and drive API integrations with international payment systems and external service providers - Act as the primary point of contact with external partners, ensuring timely delivery, alignment, and issue resolution - Analyze key business and product metrics to improve monetization, conversion, and customer retention - Generate product ideas and translate them into clear, actionable concepts and requirements - Oversee operational planning, task prioritization, deadline control, and cross-team coordination - Support merchant technical onboarding, ensuring smooth integration and adoption - Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, compliance, and commercial teams across the full product lifecycle WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE - At least 4-5+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Product roles, preferably in fintech or payment infrastructure. - Hands-on experience integrating payment systems, PSPs, or acquirers, owning integrations from API discovery and scoping through go-live and post-launch monitoring. - Strong understanding of the full payment lifecycle, including authorization, capture, refunds, chargebacks, reconciliation, and reporting. - Deep knowledge of card payment flows and 3DS2 authentication, including SCA logic, frictionless vs challenge flows, and liability shift. - Experience working with payment APIs, webhooks, and technical documentation, collaborating closely with engineering teams. - Experience evaluating and integrating new payment providers, including technical complexity, operational impact, and risk assessment. - Understanding of payment performance optimization, including authorization rates, routing strategies, retry logic, and decline analysis. - Ability to work directly with external partners (acquirers, processors, PSPs) and coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and client teams. - Ability to manage multiple integrations in parallel in complex payment environments. - Experience using AI tools to support API analysis, documentation, or operational workflows is a plus. - English language skills at B1-B2 level and fluent russian language.
