Job Description
Quality Specialist (AI Annotation)
GrowthAssistant
About Our Company GrowthAssistant was founded on a single, compelling question: Why are the best marketing teams still drowning in repetitive work? Our founders, Jesse Pujji (founder of Ampush) and Adriane Schwager (former recruitment leader for a multi-billion dollar hedge fund), realized that even the most elite teams were being slowed down by manual tasks. Leveraging their combined expertise in performance marketing and global talent sourcing, they launched GrowthAssistant in 2021 to bridge the gap between high-level strategy and daily execution. We are a premium talent network that matches fast-growing companies with full-time, college-educated global professionals. We specialize in providing highly trained offshore employees who handle the manual, repetitive implementation work that often bottlenecks marketing departments. By offloading tasks related to campaign management, design, and reporting, our clients can shift their focus back to what truly matters: brand, strategy, and results. Let’s dig into the role scope, shall we? We are looking for a 3-month engagement Quality Specialist (AI Annotation) who will be the "human brain" behind the machine. You have an ear for detail, a knack for spotting patterns, and the patience to fine-tune AI until it’s perfect. You don’t just listen to calls; you decode them. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like - Decoding Conversations: Listening to 5–10 minute hotel guest calls and comparing the audio to the AI’s written transcripts. You’ll be the judge on whether the AI actually "heard" the guest correctly. - Validating AI Logic: Reviewing metadata to see if the AI correctly classified the guest’s intent and made the right routing decisions. - Fixing the Gaps: When the AI misses the mark, you’ll step in to correct the data using our internal tools and annotation guidelines. - Pattern Hunting: Identifying recurring "fails"—like background noise or specific accents that trip the system up—and logging that feedback in structured dashboards. - Quality Control: Maintaining a high standard of accuracy across roughly 500 calls a week, ensuring every data point is reliable. Who You Are - A Master Listener: Your English comprehension (both listening and reading) is top-tier. You can catch the nuance in a mumbling guest or a noisy background. - Detail-Obsessed: You notice the small errors that others skip over. You're comfortable following strict SOPs and data security rules. - Tech-Fluent: You’re a pro with Google Sheets (filters and dropdowns are your friends) and comfortable learning new internal software. - Experienced: You’ve done this before—whether in data labeling, QA, content moderation, or transcript validation. Bonus Points if: - You have a background in the hospitality or call center industry. - You’ve worked with AI/ML concepts like "intent classification" before. - You’re a pro at working within regulated or compliance-heavy environments. What We Offer At GrowthAssistant, you aren't just joining a company; you're joining a movement to redefine how the world’s best brands scale. We believe that the right talent, placed in the right role, changes everything—and that starts with how we take care of you. - Work from Anywhere: 100% Remote work environment. - Comprehensive Coverage: Health Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Paid Holidays. - Family First: Dedicated Maternity and Paternity Leaves. - Competitive Pay: Hourly rate starts at $6 (open for discussion based on experience). - Rewards for Excellence: Incentives for Attendance, Referrals, and Work Anniversaries. Ready to help us utilize the future of AI? Join our 100% remote global team today. Apply now and be our next GrowthAssistant!
