About the Role Anju Software is expanding its global finance function and seeks a hands-on Senior Staff Accountant based in South Africa. You'll own day-to-day accounting for multiple legal entities (US, UK, Germany, India), support month-end close, and partner with FP&A on reporting and cash-flow forecasting. You will also be expected to support and at times drive workflow automation activities to reduce manual processes within the finance function. Key Responsibilities - Execute month-end and quarter-end close activities in NetSuite - Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments - Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations - Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue and revenue recognition schedules in accordance with ASC 606 - Support subscription billing and revenue workflows (SaaS) - Prepare internal financial reports and variance analyses - Maintain fixed asset, prepaid, and amortization schedules - Assist with external audits, tax filings, and SOX-related requests - Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls - Identify and implement process improvements within NetSuite, including workflow automation - Manage accounts receivable and collections, including monitoring aging reports, following up on overdue invoices, partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and Billing to resolve disputes, and ensuring accurate cash receipt application in NetSuite Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with U.S.-based companies - Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP - Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required) - Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business - AI-fluent with a continuous improvement mindset - Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Excellent written and verbal English communication - Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage priorities remotely Preferred Qualifications - Experience with ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition - Familiarity with SaaS KPIs (ARR, MRR, churn, deferred revenue) - Experience supporting the collections process What Success Looks Like - Consistently accurate and timely close cycles - Clean reconciliations with minimal review comments - Clear, proactive communication with U.S. stakeholders - Strong NetSuite data integrity and documentation - Continuous improvement of accounting processes via AI and automation tools

• Preparing and delivering accurate monthly and annual consolidated financial statements and supporting internal reporting, all in compliance with Polish GAAP. • Managing intercompany (IC) transactions, including reconciliation and confirmation, and assisting with audit and review processes. • Collaborating with accounting teams across the Group, external auditors, and advisors to resolve accounting treatment issues and ensure smooth reporting processes. • Contributing to the development and implementation of Group Accounting Policy, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely financial reporting. • Participating in strategic financial projects, such as the implementation of new accounting standards and the accounting for new acquisitions, as well as implementing internal controls in the accounting area.

• Be a primary contributor to the monthly close cycle, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and variance analyses in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner. • Manage and optimize the NetSuite environment, including mappings, workflows, reporting structures, and system controls. • Participate in day-to-day accounting functions such as reconciliations, tracking of fixed assets, capitalization processes, and ad hoc revenue cycle support. • Develop, document, and implement policies and procedures for key accounting and finance functions. • Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure timely reconciliation and elimination. • Coordinate audit and tax activities, including personal property tax filings, with external partners across applicable jurisdictions. • Conduct complex ad hoc financial analyses and resolve discrepancies with clarity and precision. • Maintain and organize accounting records to support external audits and compliance reviews. • Liaise with FP&A to provide support for budgeting and forecasting. • Serve as the subject matter expert on the general ledger structure, ERP integrations, and system interfaces. • Ensure all activities fully adhere to GAAP and align with authoritative guidance.
