The Sales Specialist 4/5 is responsible for leading and managing the most complex net new/strategic sales opportunities, often involving multiple stakeholders and significant revenue potential. This role may lead other professional staff and mentors colleagues. The Sales Specialist exercises independent judgment and business acumen to resolve highly complex issues impacting critical projects and key business processes, serving as a key contributor to overall sales strategy and exceeding ambitious revenue targets. What you will do: - Lead and manage the most complex net new/strategic sales opportunities, often involving multiple stakeholders and significant revenue potential. - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue targets, proactively identifying and mitigating significant risks. - Lead and mentor a team of Sales Specialists, providing guidance and support on complex sales cycles and strategic initiatives. - Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for both internal and external stakeholders on highly specialized solutions and industry trends. - Contribute to the development of sales strategies and methodologies, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies. - Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to senior-level executives, driving key decision-making. - Build and nurture strong relationships with key partners and customers, ensuring successful collaboration and long-term partnerships. - Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of products and solutions across the Red Hat portfolio - Define and implement high-impact, long-term sales strategies. - Lead strategic relationships with key industry leaders and partners. - Serve as the key advisor on significant product roadmaps and initiatives. - Mentor senior sales professionals across regions. - Coordinate with global leadership on cross-functional business strategies.
