• Understand and interpret client requirements to provide effective, customized database solutions • Design, develop, and administer efficient and secure SQL databases tailored to enhance Vista by Viewpoint functionality • Implement database optimization techniques for performance improvement and scalability • Ensure high standards of data integrity, security, and recovery protocols • Collaborate with various technical teams to ensure smooth integration of SQL databases with Vista by Viewpoint and other software systems • Partner with the Crystal Reports team for data reporting and analytical support • Address complex technical issues related to database performance and functionality • Provide comprehensive training and support on SQL database management to clients and internal teams • Develop and update detailed documentation for the database systems, ensuring clarity and accessibility • Perform regular quality assessments to guarantee the reliability and performance of the database systems • Provide timely reports on the development and performance of database projects to stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Significant experience in SQL database development, with a focus on applications in the construction industry
- Proficiency in database design, query optimization, and security practices
- Strong experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational database management systems
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Crystal Reports, including integration with SQL databases
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for client interactions and collaborative team work
- Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the capacity for both independent and collaborative work
