• Design and manage complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence • Architect scalable and robust database schemas to support business data requirements • Apply expertise in SQL performance tuning to optimize database operations and enhance data retrieval and manipulation speed • Implement SQL database security measures, including robust access controls, encryption, and auditing policies • Lead data migration and integration projects • Develop strategies utilizing SQL expertise to ensure business continuity • Manage SQL databases across various platforms • Create comprehensive documentation for SQL database architectures and coding standards
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SQL database development, management, and optimization
- Demonstrated experience in leading data migration, integration projects, and database security implementations
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and proficiency in database architecture design, performance tuning, and optimization
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as SSRS and Crystal Reports, and familiarity with ERP systems like Vista by Viewpoint
- Certifications in SQL database management, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or similar technologies are highly regarded

Job Summary: Our ideal DBA is a self-starter who has a strong background in SQL Server and experience maintaining and administering very large databases (VLDB’s) in a production setting.
