Job Description
Director, B2B Marketing Enablement & Adoption
MODintelechy
Role Overview This role is responsible for ensuring that marketing strategies, processes, and capabilities are adopted effectively across the organization. It translates complex concepts into practical, usable guidance and drives consistent execution across teams. The focus is on enabling people through training, playbooks, and hands-on support; and, more succinctly, ensuring that new methods of working are understood, adopted, and sustained over time. Success in this role is measured not by what is delivered, but by how teams operate differently as a result. This role operates in a B2B SaaS environment with complex buying cycles, account-based engagement models, and cross-functional execution. Key Responsibilities Deliver Strategy & Process into Usable Guidance Convert strategy, governance, and operating models into practical, role-based guidance that teams can apply in day-to-day work. Ensure clarity on how to execute within the defined frameworks. Design & Deliver Enablement Programs Develop and deliver training programs tailored to different audiences, including leadership, regional teams, and channel owners. Support onboarding for new processes, tools, and ways of working. Build Playbooks, Toolkits & Self-Service Resources Create and maintain playbooks, templates, and guides that enable consistent execution across journeys, channels, and regions. Ensure materials stay aligned with current processes and governance standards. Drive Adoption & Behavioral Change Define adoption success metrics and track how teams are using new capabilities and processes. Identify gaps, address resistance, and partner with leadership to drive sustained changes in how teams operate. Support Execution & Continuous Improvement Provide hands-on support during rollout of new capabilities and processes. Gather feedback, refine enablement approaches, and build a community of practice to reinforce learning and adoption. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate has driven the adoption of new marketing capabilities in B2B SaaS or enterprise environments where success depends on: - Aligning teams around new operating models - Enabling account-based and multi-touch engagement strategies - Driving behavioral change across distributed teams and the ability to measure change Qualifications - 6+ years in marketing enablement, transformation, or program leadership - Experience driving the adoption of new processes, tools, or operating models - Strong background in B2B SaaS or enterprise marketing environments - Excellent communication and instructional design capabilities - Proven ability to influence behavior across distributed teams - Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder marketing organizations About MODintelechy MODintelechy provides managed services to B2B organizations. Hi, we’re Big Human. We’re a full-service creative agency. We work with the world’s most interesting brands to bring their vision to life through technology, design, branding and marketing. Since 2010, we’ve produced 262 websites, 80 applications and 50 brands for 247 satisfied clients (Rockefeller Center, Gemini, Quinn and Netflix, to name just a few). And we’ve still found time for our own passion projects on the side (like HQ Trivia and Vine). As we continue expanding our marketing practice, we’re hiring a Marketing Strategist to play a central role in how we deliver strategy and campaigns. This is an AI-forward role for a growth strategist who owns outcomes, prioritizes ruthlessly, and keeps momentum week to week. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and client leadership. You’ll translate business goals into clear marketing plans and own them from kickoff through delivery. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who can think strategically, move work forward independently, and drive measurable impact. AI should be a natural part of your marketing stack, helping you explore ideas, iterate quickly, and increase output across strategy and execution. This is not a coordinator or execution-only role. You’ll be expected to make trade-offs, focus on what moves the needle, and deliver real value for clients. It is ideal for someone who has worked in agency environments or early-stage startups and is comfortable operating across many marketing disciplines. About the Role We’re looking for a sharp, AI-forward marketing generalist who can translate client goals into clear strategies and drive those strategies forward across channels. At Big Human, we operate as a strategic growth partner to our clients, not an execution layer brought in for extra bandwidth. This means Marketing Strategists are responsible for identifying what will actually move the needle and focusing efforts there. You’ll be expected to prioritize what matters most, make clear trade-offs, and guide clients toward the highest-impact work. Our goal is not to do more marketing. It’s to do the right marketing. You’ll work across a wide range of initiatives, including platform strategy, campaigns, SEO and AI-driven search, GTM, and performance optimization. You will often be the primary owner of a client’s marketing workstream, responsible for: - Designing the strategy - Managing execution - Coordinating with collaborators - Leading client communication - Tracking performance and iteration This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ll be expected to think at a high level while also ensuring work moves forward week to week. It’s fast-paced, high-ownership, rewarding work. You’ll help shape how companies grow, make decisions that have real impact, and see your ideas turn into measurable results. The right candidate is a strategic thinker and strong operator: someone who enjoys turning ideas into plans and plans into outcomes. What You’ll Do Strategy & Planning - Translate client goals (growth, revenue, engagement) into clear marketing strategies and execution plans - Use AI tools to rapidly explore strategic directions, validate ideas, and pressure-test plans before execution - Synthesize large amounts of information quickly (client inputs, research, performance data) into clear strategic direction - Take the first strategic pass when a project starts from scratch - Make clear trade-offs about what not to do, based on impact vs effort - Ensure every initiative ladders back to defined goals and success metrics Growth Ownership & Prioritization - Define clear goals and success metrics for each client & initiative - Focus efforts on what will drive measurable impact, not just output - Continuously evaluate what’s working, what’s not, and where to double down - Reprioritize work based on performance, new insights, or changing client needs - Know when to say “no” or “not now” to protect focus and momentum - Maintain consistent forward momentum across initiatives, ensuring work doesn’t stall or drift - Break down strategy into weekly actions that drive measurable progress Campaign Execution & Project Management - Own marketing initiatives end-to-end from kickoff through delivery - Use AI to accelerate planning, drafting, and iteration across campaigns without sacrificing quality - Build systems and create content for social media and creative campaigns - Prepare weekly decks and campaign updates for clients - Identify risks early and resolve them with a clear plan Creative & Partner Collaboration - Brief designers, producers, freelancers and partner agencies clearly and effectively - Provide clearer, faster briefs by leveraging structured thinking and AI-assisted iteration - Set expectations for deliverables, timelines and success criteria alongside our Marketing Manager - Ensure marketing assets meet both strategic and creative goals - Maintain strong communication across teams Analytics & Insights - Track marketing performance across channels - Translate analytics and performance data into insights and recommendations - Use AI to identify patterns in performance data and generate faster hypotheses for testing - Translate insights into clear next steps without relying on manual analysis alone - Ensure campaigns evolve based on learnings and performance Client Leadership & Communication - Lead day-to-day client communication for assigned projects - Present marketing plans, campaign updates and performance insights - Translate complex work into clear summaries and recommendations - Communicate priorities, tradeoffs and risks clearly Systems & Process Improvement - Improve internal workflows for strategy, execution and reporting - Turn lessons learned into documented processes or templates - Help strengthen how Big Human delivers marketing work at scale Who You Are You’re energized by solving complex marketing problems and figuring out how to turn ambitious goals into real-world campaigns. You enjoy working across disciplines — strategy, content, social, growth, partnerships — and you’re excited by the challenge of choosing the right marketing tools for the job. You thrive when you’re trusted with ownership, when the work is varied, and when you’re collaborating with smart teams and interesting clients. Who You Are Profile - A sharp, AI-forward marketing generalist who understands how to balance brand storytelling with growth and performance Experience & Background - NYC or Tri-State based (remote with occasional in-person opportunities) - 5–8+ years experience in marketing strategy, growth marketing, or campaign leadership - Agency experience or startup GTM experience strongly preferred - Experience managing multi-channel campaigns Strategic Thinking & Prioritization - You think in terms of outcomes, not just deliverables - You focus on what actually moves the needle - You are comfortable making trade-offs and saying no when something won’t drive impact - You are not satisfied with shipping work — you care about whether it worked - You approach decisions with data and performance in mind Ownership & Execution - Comfortable owning projects end-to-end and moving work forward independently - Organized, proactive, and accountable - Comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously - You maintain momentum and ensure work progresses week to week AI & Modern Marketing Approach - Comfortable using AI tools as part of your daily workflow - Able to move from idea → draft → refined output efficiently using modern tools - Strong judgment: you know how to edit, refine, and improve AI-assisted work - Energized by working faster and smarter, not just harder Communication & Decision-Making - A strong communicator who can translate complexity into clarity - Confident making decisions in ambiguous situations - You make decisions efficiently and confidently, even with imperfect information Bonus points if… - Experience launching early-stage products or startups - Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and creative teams - Experience building marketing systems or playbooks AI & Modern Marketing Approach At Big Human, we believe AI is a force multiplier. You should be comfortable using AI tools as part of your daily workflow to: - Generate and refine strategic thinking faster - Create strong first drafts across content, campaigns, and frameworks - Pressure-test ideas and explore multiple directions quickly - Summarize complex information into clear insights - Improve speed without lowering the quality bar - Experiment and iterate with our creative campaign workflow & output We are not looking for someone who relies on AI blindly. We are looking for someone who knows how to use it well: applying judgment, taste, and strategy to shape outputs into high-quality work. Work Style Expectations - You manage your own workstreams in Asana - You utilize AI as a part of your modern toolkit - You flag risks early and propose solutions - You communicate clearly with internal teams and clients - You operate with autonomy as the default - You’re energized by helping clients achieve real momentum Who This Is Not For - Marketing coordinators looking to grow into strategy - Candidates who need heavy direction to move projects forward - People uncomfortable making decisions independently - Marketers who prefer execution-only roles - Candidates without agency or fast-paced startup experience What Success Looks Like - Work consistently ladders back to clear goals and measurable outcomes - Priorities are clear, and low-impact work is deprioritized or eliminated - Clients rely on Big Human for direction, not just execution - Marketing efforts result in measurable progress (growth, engagement, revenue, etc.) Why Work at Big Human? We believe work is important, but so is taking care of yourself, connecting with your team and stepping away from the screen to recharge. Here are just a few of the perks of working at Big Human: - Remote Office (with bi-monthly coworking days) - Health, Dental & Vision Insurance (including options completely covered by Big Human) - 14 Paid Holidays & Generous Vacation Time - 401(k) Matching - 10–16 Weeks of Paid Parental Leave - Internet Credit & Home Office Upgrade Stipend - Summer Fridays - Yearly Team Retreat & Company-Sponsored Team Events - Shared Experience Fund & Donation Matching - Education Fund for professional development This role is fully remote, with strong preference for someone based in the Tri-State area (or who can easily travel to NYC for coworking days and team gatherings). Compensation is commensurate with experience, and ranges from $90,000–100,000, depending on background.
