Digital Marketing Specialist

• Manage and schedule social media posts using tools like Later or Buffer • Build and send email newsletters via Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar platforms • Maintain organized content calendars across client accounts (social, email, events) • Respond to and organize customer reviews (Google, Yelp, Facebook) • Assist with the setup and optimization of Google and Meta Ads campaigns • Track campaign performance and organize insights in Google Sheets • Create basic branded visuals (social posts, banners, headers) in Canva • Support light website edits using Squarespace or CMS platforms • Write and edit content for the agency (LinkedIn, blog posts, email updates) • Assist with event logistics and internal promotions • Participate in agency video content creation (scripting, coordination) • Keep Google Drive, files, and SOPs tidy and easy to access • Support internal communications via Slack and project updates

Job Requirements

  • Fluent in spoken and written English (U.S. style/tone)
  • Strong writing skills for captions, newsletters, and blog posts
  • Proficiency with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Experience using scheduling tools like Later, Buffer, Planoly
  • Email marketing: familiar with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar
  • Canva proficiency for visuals; bonus if you know CapCut or video tools
  • Familiar with Squarespace or light CMS edits
  • Bonus: Experience running Meta or Google Ads campaigns
  • Solid attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Enthusiasm for food, hospitality, and modern digital marketing trends
  • Experience using ChatGPT for ideation, drafts, or outlines is a plus

Role Description The Digital Campaign Manager acts as the technical hub that connects sales and our centralized buying team. This is a collaborative role that assists sales in campaign structure, buying in campaign launching, and acts as the liaison between our client services team and our local markets. This position reports to the Regional Director of Campaign Management and is ultimately responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and reporting of digital campaigns. Success in this role comes in the form of accelerated sales and reduced campaign cancellations. Responsibilities: - Strategy: - Coach & develop sales professionals on our product capabilities. - Oversee technical approval of proposals being built by our sales strategists. - Give insight and suggestions for sales for ongoing campaigns based on feedback from our buyers. - Campaign Pre-Launch: - Coaches sales on crafting quality messaging for various tactics (social, SEM, programmatic, etc.). - Assigns targeting segments based on experience and overall tactic mix. - Delegates to sales tasks to be completed in order to fully prepare a new client campaign for launch (creative, pixels, KPIs). - Responsible for compiling all elements of the insertion order and scheduling the campaign to be trafficked. - Campaign Post-Launch: - Primary point of contact for local markets you support to our centralized buying, client services, and analytics teams. - Support local market as client optimizations, revisions, upsells and renewals come in from our post-sale teams. - Continually refine and improve continuity between all workgroups. - Participate in regular virtual team meetings with the camera on to foster stronger collaboration and engagement, ensuring active communication and connection with colleagues across departments.
