Regional Sales Manager

Jellycat

• Managing a Territory Passionately represent Jellycat and promote brand awareness within the existing territory account base. • Working with your Team Leader to understand account tiers and determine travel schedules to ensure retailers receive in-person visits as needed. • Meet sales growth and budget targets. • Evaluate which existing retailers do or do not meet Jellycat merchandising and brand standards. • Navigate tough conversations when closing accounts that do not meet Jellycat standards. • Identifying and securing new luxury accounts. • Develop trusting, professional relationships with retailers. • Engage with store personnel to ensure they understand and promote the brand. • Launch, present, and sell in new collections as they are introduced. • Ensure correct visual merchandising and product presentation in stores per Marketing direction. • Encourage retailers to host events as directed by Marketing and participate as needed. • Provide in-store /customer training on products and brand awareness. • Monitoring adherence to brand guidelines in all promotional and operational activities. • Provide quarterly updates to management via PowerPoint presentation. • Assist with feedback regarding new products, visual merchandising, and customer interactions. • Document via photos enhancements made to each account. • Visit National/Key accounts in your territory, provide feedback to the Key Account Manager, and assist with visual merchandising in these doors as needed. • Placing orders via MarketTime or SAP. • Provide reports via SAP for internal and external use (retailer-specific).

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Territory Sales Manager, ideally with a luxury brand.
  • Essential that you live in and are based within the territory you are representing.
  • Must have moderate skills in Excel (for reporting/ forecasting/financial planning purposes).
  • Ideally proficiency in PowerPoint (for Quarterly reviews).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ideally has experience with a luxury brand to understand premium positioning.
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Essential to be a creative thinker and decision-maker when seeking guidance from the senior management team.
  • Passionate about Jellycat, our characters, and our brand.
  • Knowledgeable about understanding trends in retail and the gift market overall.
  • Ability to merchandise the products in-store with POS and branding.
  • You will be a brand ambassador for Jellycat and not just a salesperson.
  • Thrives within a field-based sales role, passionate about providing the best customer support and experience possible.
